WESTFIELD, Ind. -- The city of Westfield took a swing and proved it's in the club of being able to host a major sports event like LIV Golf.
The people who live in Chatham Hills are proud of their hometown and all for the ripple effects of being in the global spotlight.
“The neighborhood was excited,” said homeowner Lisa Wiehagen.
“It was a fun event. It brought people together,” shared Eduardo Paternoster.
“It was a big deal,” said homeowner Annette Fisher.
The same people who expressed exuberance for the event also expressed their frustration that they were not fully informed of the impact of the staging area placed in their residential neighborhood to support the LIV event.
