Shooting on LaBelle Street in Jacksonville injures 1

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One person was shot at a scene in the 1200 block of LaBelle Street Wednesday afternoon, according to Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says that person was a man in his 20's. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Police had responded to the scene just after 5 p.m. They found the man in a parking lot.

JSO says multiple people who were at the scene were detained. However, it's too early to figure out if any of them are suspects.
