Get ready for a significant shift in our weather pattern across our region as we welcome back that familiar summer-like heat!

After what has been a pleasant stretch, we're tracking a return of those much warmer 90-degree highs starting tomorrow and looking to stick around for at least the next several days.

We'll be monitoring the precise temperature readings, but expect afternoons to feel quite toasty. The forecast also continues to call for very dry conditions across the board. This lack of rainfall, combined with the increasing temperatures, is expected to exacerbate dry conditions over the next week, in fact Posey County has been placed under a burn ban until further notice.
