Just two local teams earned spots in the top 10 of their respective classifications in the first Associated Press state high school football rankings released Wednesday.

Camas, which opened with a 47-0 win over Roosevelt of Seattle, opened at No. 6 in the Class 4A rankings.

Seton Catholic, which lost to Columbia River 33-28 last Friday, came in at No. 8 at Class 1A.

Skyview (4A) and La Center (1A) were among the teams to also receive votes.
