COLUMBIA, Mo. (KCTV) - Missouri’s summer-time quarterback battle came to a quick conclusion during the first week of the 2025 season.

Not only did Penn State transfer Beau Pribula play well, but Sam Horn also got hurt in the Tigers’ 61-6 victory over Central Arkansas.

After Horn was ruled to be sidelined for a significant portion of the season, according to the Missouri coaching staff, on Wednesday, ESPN’s Pete Thamel said Horn’s season is officially over after he underwent surgery to repair a fractured tibia in his right leg.

Horn was drafted and has signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers due to his standout play on the baseball diamond.
