A judge on Thursday sentenced Joseph Gonzales to 20 years in prison for a 2022 shooting death that began with a dispute over speeding in a South Valley neighborhood.

A jury in July found Gonzales, 47, guilty of second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of 35-year-old Abner Antillon during an argument outside Gonzales’ home in the 1600 block of Val Verde SW, near Isleta and Blake.
