LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) — The Lancaster Stormers' new name honors the region's Pennsylvania Dutch heritage.
This Saturday, Sept. 13, the team will play as the Lebanon Bolognas. The one-night-only rebrand includes a jersey redesign featuring a bologna mascot.
It's all part of Dutch Fest, and the Bolognas are going all out for it.
One inning of the game will be called entirely in Pennsylvania Dutch, traditional German folk dancers will take the field for pre-game festivities, fans can take on Pennsylvania Dutch trivia between innings, and concessions will be stocked with Pennsylvania Dutch favorites such as chicken pot pie, apple dumplings, chicken corn soup, Lebanon bologna cheesesteak, and whoopie pies.
Tickets are on sale now, along with Lebanon Bologna merch. Click here to learn more.
