HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - The fall dry season is here and with it comes all sorts of issues, both good and bad.
To start, weekend events will relish in the sunshine, though sunburn alerts are in effect. The lack of rain is an issue for homeowners who want to keep their summer flowers looking vibrant into autumn.
Plan on watering at least every other day to combat Mother Nature’s stinginess with rain. Ragweed pollens will keep hay fever sufferers grabbing for their meds and for Kleenex tissues.
As for the prospects for rain, sure a passing shower is possible on Sunday but there are signs it won’t rain again in earnest until autumn. The equinox occurs on Monday the 22nd!
