The Woodlands Township presented Parker McCollum with a proclamation designating Sept. 6, 2025, as Parker McCollum Day in The Woodlands and awarded him a ceremonial Key to The Woodlands during his performance at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion . Supporting artists for the show were Kameron Marlowe and Vincent Mason.

The backstory

According to the proclamation, McCollum is from Conroe and graduated from College Park High School in The Woodlands. He attended concerts at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and performed locally before gaining widespread success, according to the proclamation.
