IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Iowa’s defense is allowing just 11.5 points per game. However, there’s just been one turnover generated, and that was on special teams.

For graduate linebacker, Jaden Harrell, it’s about being aggressive, while maintaining discipline.

“Just keep doing our job, but give a little more, have more aggression, punch the ball out, read routes faster, get your eyes on the quarterback, break on the ball, and hopefully get your hands on it,” said Harrell.

Defensive lineman, Ethan Hurkett said it’s also generating bigger defensive plays on earlier downs.
