HANOVER, N.H. (ABC22/FOX44) - Conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed at an event at Utah Valley University, was scheduled to appear at the Hanover Inn at Dartmouth College as part of its political debate series, the Dartmouth Political Union (DPU) said Wednesday.

Kirk was to debate left-wing political commentator Hasan Piker on September 25. The DPU's debate series, subtitled "Critical Discourse in the Age of Disagreement," was meant to bring together speakers from different political viewpoints for civil discussion.
