FORT MYERS — When Donnie Wilkie decides which basketball teams he’s going to invite to the nationally renowned City of Palms Classic, he looks for three things.

Wilkie, the vice president on the board of directors and tournament organizer, said he seeks a program, a player, and a story.

Sarasota High has all three.
