BOWLING GREEN, Ky. Earning the honor for today’s WKU Player of the Week is Hilltopper Alivia Skidmore.
The sophomore outside hitter was a key factor in the Tops’ 3-0 sweep of No. 25 Dayton on September 5th.
Skidmore led the way with 14 kills against the Flyers, while totaling 30 kills on the weekend.
The Bluegrass native had an outstanding freshman year on the Hill. She was named to the 2024 CUSA All-Freshmen Team and Second Team All-Conference after totaling 344 kills on the year.
Through the Hilltopper’s first five games of the season, Skidmore has been responsible for 68.5 of the teams’ points.
This is the second consecutive Wednesday featuring a member of Hilltopper volleyball, as the squad is off to a 3-2 start and will be back in action against High Point this Friday at the ETS
