The Wiregrass Kings cross country team dominated the Snook Invitational in Foley on Saturday, winning three of the four team titles and having an individual win a race.

Running on a muddy course, the Kings’ Brayden Treadaway, a senior, won the varsity boys 5A race, finishing with a time of 17 minutes and 30.83, more than 38 seconds ahead of runner-up Bowers Chapman of Guardian Christian Athletics (19:08.64).

The Kings had five others in the top 12 in the race with Gabriel Holt (18:48.39) and Jonathan Treadaway (19:21.99) placing third and fourth, Braxton Martin (20:07.65) seventh, Joshua Treadaway (20:39.78) 11th and Joel Young (21:29.85) 12th.

The effort helped the Kings beat out Eastwood Christian for the top spot with 20 points to 36.
