WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) -- On Wednesday evening, Warren City Council heard from a woman who wants Dana Street opened, learned about the possibility of joining another Joint Economic Development District, and agreed to help a steel company.

Diane Manofksy lives near Dana Street on Warren's Northeast side. The street has been closed for eight years at the request of the owner of AutoParkit. Manofsky requested the council reopen the street.

"Again, I ask council to reopen Dana Street and not grant another 90-day extension," Manofsky said.

Council is expected to vote on whether to reopen Dana Street at its Sept. 24 meeting. Manofsky said AutoParkit does not generate enough traffic to justify keeping it closed.
