STORRS, Conn. (WTNH) -- The University of Connecticut has been named in the top 25 public universities in the United States for years.
Between the university's prestige, its renowned engineering school and its historic basketball teams, you can imagine it's a hard school to get into -- but the campus in Hartford is looking to make an appeal to prospective students.
Around 2,000 students who were rejected from the Storrs campus were accepted to regional campuses like the one in Hartford.
"I went for Storrs, but got accepted into the Hartford campus, and I don't live near Hartford, so I figured I would just try to move into the dorms- they're really nice inside," second-year Seth Webb said.
