LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Laredoans gathered to join in a candlelight vigil , showing support for those affected by suicide, emphasizing that they are not alone.
The event occurred on Wednesday, September 10, for World Suicide Prevention Day, providing a space for those affected to share their stories and support one another. The vigil served as both a healing experience and a call for increased awareness.
Laredo officials and representatives from the Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) nursing program were also in attendance, offering resources and support.
