BELLEVUE, Neb. —
Bellevue University officially opened its new fieldhouse on Wednesday.
It will play host to volleyball and both men's and women's basketball.
The $30 million facility is a major upgrade and could have a big impact on the teams' success on the court.
"This will help us with recruiting quite a bit. Quite frankly, we have been very successful at our level athletically. We've done it in spite of the lack of accommodations," said Ed Lehotak, Bellevue University Athletic Director.
Bellevue volleyball, which finished as the national runner-up last season, beat Dakota State on Wednesday in straight sets.
