RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) -Logan County Tourism is celebrating 25 years. Now, they have officially opened the doors to its new visitor center.

Executive Director of Logan County Tourism, Dee Dee Brown says this new center gives more “visibility to the community” when visitors come to town. She also wants the tourism committee to do more moving forward and to expand tourism.

She wants to host and promote more events in the county, so more visitors are in town and are able to shop locally.

“The tourism industry has really struggled since COVID. There have been a lot of changes. A lot of businesses are just struggling. So more than anything, we want to help our attractions and our festivals and events, things that bring people here to spend the night and people here to visit,” Brown said.
