SEATTLE — One person was injured in a stabbing in Seattle on Wednesday night, according to the Seattle Police Department.

Law enforcement responded to the incident around 7:45 p.m. near Denny Way and 7th Avenue North.

Police said a 25-year-old man, who was stabbed multiple times, collapsed in front of a police vehicle. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to SPD.

Before the stabbing, two men got into a fight, Seattle police said. However, police are still investigating what led up to the altercation.

The suspect fled the scene. Police followed a trail of blood leading to a nearby apartment building where they located a 35-year-old man, who reported he had been attacked on a bus.

Police arrested the man and he is expected to be booke
