A home run and run-scoring double from Mikey Romero gave the Worcester Red Sox’s offense a jumpstart against the Syracuse Mets on Wednesday.
Romero’s offense led the team to a win, 4-1. Shane Drohan got the win on the mound, pitching five innings, striking out three and allowing two hits. Romero finished the game 2-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBI.
