MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - In the 24 years since the Sept. 11 attacks, many Americans have chosen to commemorate the events of that day by giving blood.
The Madison police and fire departments are again partnering with the American Red Cross to invite the community to donate blood at the 14th annual ‘Never Forget’ Blood Drive from the Goodman Community Center.
The community blood drive is a friendly competition between first responders to see which department can produce the most donations.
The blood drive is being held at the Goodman Community Center from 8:30a.m. to 2:30p.m.
