Thursday marks 24 years since the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, and the annual commemoration ceremony will bring large crowds and lots of traffic around the city.

The start of New York Fashion Week, a presidential appearance at a New York Yankees game, and the Feast of San Gennaro will likely bring gridlock to much of Manhattan throughout the day.

The annual 9/11 commemoration ceremony will start at 8:30 a.m., as family members of victims gather at Memorial Plaza to read aloud the names of each person who died in the terrorist attack. They also read out the names of those killed in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
