Aside from some dense fog west of Dane County this morning, we're looking at a calm and quiet start to the day. That visibility clears up by mid-morning, and fog gives way to mostly sunny skies thanks to a high-pressure system over northern Wisconsin. This sunshine today will continue our warming trend, bringing us to a high of 78 degrees today. Winds are coming from the east, so we won't see humidity grow too much today, but we'll likely get some more moisture in the air tomorrow as winds shift to come from the south.
Those southerly winds tomorrow and even more sunshine will have us breaking the 80-degree barrier, with Madison expected to reach 81 for Friday's high. Although we'll get a few more clouds on Saturday,
