WATERTOWN – Mary Broderick, Senior Search Consultant for CABE Search Services, presented the Board of Education Monday with the main qualities and areas of expertise desired by the community for a new Superintendent.
Ms. Broderick said the profile was developed after eight focus groups were held over the past few weeks and parents, staff and community members had the opportunity to complete a survey. A total of 208 people provided input, 32 orally and 176 through the completion of a survey.
Ms. Broderick noted that very few teachers or parents participated in the focus groups, with just three teachers and two parents choosing this method to provide input; but these two groups represented a large part of the survey respondents, with 76 teachers and 50 parents choosing this method.
