A former security guard at Broome's Roebuck Bay Hotel says she was repeatedly indecently assaulted by the venue's former manager while on shift.

Stewart Patrick Burchell is on trial in the Broome District Court, accused of assaulting multiple employees and a patron while running the landmark pub between 2017 and 2023.

The 51-year-old has pleaded not guilty to 15 charges of unlawful and indecent assault and one charge of sexual penetration without consent.

On Thursday the guard told the court that in the summer of 2022-23 Mr Burchell repeatedly thrust his groin against her at the side of the venue's stage during the pub's weekly wet T-shirt contest.
