ORCHARD PARK - Amid all the problems the Buffalo Bills defense encountered last Sunday , rising from the ashes out of the crater left behind by Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, and Zay Flowers was the performance of defensive tackle Ed Oliver who played one of the best games of his career.

“Ed had a big game,” coach Sean McDermott said. “You could feel his play out there. Whether it was the run game, the pass game, couple good hits on the quarterback, couple big plays in the run game behind the line of scrimmage, and then forcing the fumble.”

It was a nightmarish night for the Bills’ defense as it got pummeled for 3 ½ quarters by the Ravens star-studded offense. But with the game on the line in the fourth quarter, the Bills defense finally emerged and came up with three consecutive stops,
