There's a social media post that's gone viral on multiple platforms involving Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson and Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated in Utah on Wednesday.

It says that Jefferson "immediately stepped in, pledging to pay all living and educational expenses for Kirk’s two children." Is that true? Did Jefferson really do that?

As far as we can tell from Jefferson's social media and any other lack of reporting on this, no, that doesn't seem to be the case. It could be a false posting that's gone viral.

If that somehow isn't the case, we'll update this post.

There you have it.
