MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — In its first year on the water, Twisted Tiki Cruises out of Milford is turning heads for its laid-back charm and unique experience on Connecticut waters.

Owner 26-year-old Tanner Gorgelos has always loved being out on the water, taking jobs as a yacht captain in Greenwich and West Palm Beach, Florida.

"When I was down in Palm Beach, I saw some of the tiki cruises down there ... I saw how much people loved it and I knew we didn't really have anything like that up here," Gorgelos said.

Quickly after launching the business this summer, customers resonated with the concept, booking out cruises most weekends.
