The weekend will be split between a more-clouds-than-sun day and a very sunny, warm day in mid-September.
The more-clouds-than-sun day will be Saturday. There will also be a patch of showers moving south across Lower Michigan Saturday.
The rain won’t amount to much if you are hoping for a good rain on our landscapes. The patch of showers will be in the U.P. Friday night, northern Lower Michigan Saturday morning and southern Lower Michigan Saturday afternoon.

Saturday will have just one to three hours of occasional light rain at any one spot. The general idea is damp in the north in the morning and damp in the south in the afternoon.
