HANK’S HONEYS: The Commanders lived for these games last year, consistently lifting their game against the strongest competition. Green Bay certainly fits that bill. The Packers made a huge statement against the Lions in Week 1, looking every bit the Super Bowl contender behind QB Jordan Love. Normally, underdogs are attractive on a short week, particularly a team as solid as the Commanders. But throw in the prime time atmosphere of Lambeau Field and this might be a hill too tall for the visitors.
The Commanders’ defense held the Giants without a touchdown last week, but that was the Giants. There are holes in that unit that Green Bay’s balanced attack can exploit.
