YOUNGSTOWN A Canfield man has pleaded guilty to five counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, a fourth-degree felony, in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.
Twenty-six-year-old Matthias Lewis appeared before Judge Anthony D'Apolito on Wednesday, who scheduled his sentencing for September 10.
Lewis's attorney, Rhys Cartwright-Jones, filed a sentencing memorandum with the court, proposing a community-control sentence.
The memo states Lewis's case involves a limited number of files and no allegations of producing or hands-on abuse. It also notes Lewis sought treatment for what the memo terms "dysregulated internet use" and engaged in therapy and a sex-addiction support group.
