Partial solar eclipse will be visible in southern hemisphere this month. How to see it in Michigan

If you'd like to welcome fall by viewing the next solar eclipse , you'll have to watch it online from Michigan or travel a long, long way.

A partial solar eclipse will occur Sept. 21, though it won't be visible anywhere close to Michigan skies, according to NASA. A day before the fall equinox, the eclipse's best viewing will be in the remote South Pacific Ocean, near Antarctica, south of New Zealand, Space.com says.
