Portage School of Leaders

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Portage School of Leaders has been selected as one of five Indiana school systems to join the Carnegie Foundation's Future of High School (FHS) Network.

The FHS Network, launched by the Carnegie Foundation on Wednesday, June 18, seeks to transform the American high school from a time-based system into one centered on student mastery and real-world readiness.

The five chosen school systems include not only the Portage School of Leaders (PSOL) in South Bend, but also Concord Community Schools in Elkhart.

The other three are Eastern Hancock Schools in Charlottesville, Purdue Polytechnic High Schols in Indianapolis, and the Rural Alliance Zone in Randolph County.
