REDDING, Calif. - Caltrans District 2 and Roll ‘N Rock Construction, Inc. are gearing up to start a safety improvement project on Interstate 5 exit ramps in Siskiyou County.

The $1.48 million project aims to upgrade signage and enhance pavement markings to prevent wrong-way entries from South Dunsmuir to Hilt Road.

Construction is scheduled to begin on September 15 and will take place Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect ramp and shoulder closures and are encouraged to drive carefully, adhere to speed limits and allow extra time for potential delays and detours.
