ROCKWELL CITY, Iowa —

The Iowa State Patrol has identified the 15-year-old who was killed in a crash in Calhoun County on Wednesday morning.

The teenager was identified as Cadyn Ogden, of Rockwell City.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, shortly after 7 a.m., Ogden was driving a 2002 Ford F150 northbound on Fletcher Avenue, approaching U.S. Highway 20, when he failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a semi that was eastbound on Highway 20.

The driver of the semi was injured, but the ISP did not specify the nature of the injuries.

The ISP said Ogden was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and there was also dense fog in the area.

Ogden was a sophomore at South Central Calhoun High School.
