Santander has made a big change for customers who have its banking app. Santander has moved to introduce mobile app blurring to protect customers from scammers’ screen sharing technology.
Santander says it "has taken the fight to the fraudsters" with its latest update to its OneApp banking app, available to download for loyal bank account holders and customers, now including screen sharing detection technology.
This technology from the high street banking giant "will automatically blur a customer’s mobile screen and prevent them from carrying out any banking actions where screen sharing technology is being used" on their device, they say.
