Proposals to build four 'bespoke' homes on farmland in Shirley have been lodged with planners.
A.J. Upton Development Ltd wants to build the five and four-bedroom homes, with private gardens and double garages, on land at Birchy Farm in Birchy Leasowes Lane.
A planning statement included with the application said: "The site lies adjacent to the existing Birchy Farm property and Birchy Barns.
"The surrounding area is residential in character, comprising a variety of dwellings.
"The proposal site sits directly adjacent to the proposed Solihull Local Plan allocation known as 'Blythe 1', which is the subject of a live outline application for up to 450 homes."
