AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A suspected drug dealer was arrested on Wednesday after multiple law enforcement agencies worked together for over a year to locate him.

According to the Milam County Sheriff’s Office, Jamal Williams, 39, was arrested in eastern Williamson County on Wednesday, Sept. 10.

Williams had outstanding arrest warrants that were issued in February of last year after deputies conducted a search warrant and found over 12 pounds of illegal narcotics at a home in Rockdale. Among the narcotics were nine pounds of what the sheriff's office believed to be methamphetamines. No one was home at the time of the search.
