The Detroit Tigers are looking forward to a sweep as they take on the Yankees in Game 3. However, the Tigers found themselves in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. At least eight men were tied to the team and its parent company, called Ilitch Sports & Entertainment. According to reports they have harassed, abused, or discriminated against women dating back to 2023, according to reports.
The allegations include everything from inappropriate comments to physical intimidation. Sam Menzin, the former assistant GM, resigned earlier this year after he allegedly sent explicit photos, and Michael Lienert pushed a female coworker. Six of the eight men resigned, were fired, or did not have their contracts renewed.
