THE Pittsburgh Steelers have made four major roster changes within hours of each other, showing their true ambitions.

The Steelers are coming off the back of a tight victory in Week 1 over the New York Jets .

But on Wednesday, Adam Schefter reported, via X , that they had made some major moves to their roster.

Pittsburgh signed safety Jabrill Peppers on a one-year contract.

They also moved cornerback James Pierre from the practice squad to the active roster and signed QB Logan Woodside to the practice squad.

This followed Malik Harrison and Skylar Thompson being placed on the injury reserve.

Harrison is a linebacker, while Thompson was their third-string quarterback.

The Steelers picked up a 34-32 victory against the Jets on the opening weekend of the season.
