SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (WFLA) — The FBI released two photos of a person of interest in the death of Charlie Kirk Thursday afternoon.

The pictures show what appears to be a man in a long sleeve American flag T-shirt, a ball cap, glasses, and jeans.

Kirk was killed while answering questions at an "American Comeback Tour” event.

“Counting or not counting gang violence?” Kirk said just before he was shot in the neck.

Kirk was seen losing a large amount of blood as authorities worked to get him to a hospital.

“I can tell you this was a targeted event,” said Robert Bohls, the top FBI agent in Salt Lake City.
