I haven’t thought much of the last few seasons of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia . It felt like what was once one of my favorite shows of all time had devolved somewhat into an over-lit, too-HD version of itself that didn’t necessarily understand anymore what made it so groundbreaking in the first place. It’s no knock against anyone that happened mind you, as Sunny had a mind-boggling streak of quality, and nobody can stay on the tippy-top forever!
Nevertheless, it felt like a bit of a relief to watch this latest season (strange misfire of a first episode excluded), as overall it seemed like the guys behind it had rediscovered a bit of their old mojo this time. Nothing
