HELENA — After two weeks of non-conference play, Class AA football will reach another level of intensity this week with the start of league games.

There are four teams still undefeated — three in Western AA and one in Eastern AA.

Gallatin has looked formidable this season, along with Kalispell Glacier, the No. 1 team in our latest 406 MT Sports high school football rankings . The Wolfpack own a 14-10 win over Billings West, a team that spotted Missoula Hellgate 14 points last week before scoring 56 in a row.

Starting Friday, there won't be another intraconference game until the postseason. Glacier, Gallatin and West feel like the favorites, but there is a lot of football left to play.
