Enrollment at The University of Akron is on the rise.

The university announced on Sept. 11 that 15,318 students have enrolled this fall – a 3.4% increase over fall 2024 — with enrollment gains seen among undergraduate, graduate, law and high school students in the College Credit Plus program. The headcount increase represents the university’s largest enrollment since 2021.

UA President R.J. Nemer called the enrollment growth “a testament to the dedication of our faculty and staff.”
