The NCAA has permanently revoked the eligibility of three men's college basketball players for betting on their own games, including one who was found to have manipulated his performance.

Mykell Robinson, Steven Vasquez, and Jalen Weaver were banned after an NCAA Committee on Infractions investigation found they placed bets on their own games at Fresno State and San Jose State during the 2024-25 season. They also provided information to others to enable betting.

According to the NCAA, Robinson and Vasquez were roommates at Fresno State and later discussed via text how Robinson planned to underperform in several statistical categories during a game against Colorado State on Jan. 7, 2025.
