According to the four-time Super Bowl champ, the Eagles sent a message in last season’s Super Bowl with how they attacked the Chiefs and provided a blueprint for the rest of the NFL — if you go on the offensive, Kansas City will implode.

“The Philadelphia Eagles opened that floodgate of, hey, if you punch these guys in the face, you take it to them, you come out swinging, they’re gonna fold and they’re not gonna be the team you were seeing all last year,” Gronkowski, a Fox Sports analyst, said Wednesday on “Up & Adams.” 3

The Chiefs were going for a historic three-peat but were instead demolished by the Eagles, 40-22, a game in which Philadelphia led 40-6 entering the final three minutes.
