GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – After a firearm was found at Preble High School this week, the Green Bay Area Public School District is requiring students in grades six through 12 to begin using clear or colorless backpacks starting Monday, September 22.

“When our community has a need, we try to help where we can,” the business wrote in a social media post.
Delain Insurance is also pitching in, offering 35 clear backpacks to students in need as a way to promote safety and ease the transition.
A public meeting has been scheduled for Monday, September 15, at 6 p.m. at Preble Hi
