ITHACA, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- Two Cornell students brought a bear they hunted into a dorm hall, according to a Cornell spokesperson.
Over the weekend, the undergraduate students -- with valid New York State hunting licenses -- killed the bear and brought it into the hall for processing on Saturday, Sept. 6, the spokesperson explained.
Pictures are circulating on the Cornell subreddit depicting what appears to be a skinned bear on a table.
"A police report was made when a complaint was filed late Sunday night," said the spokesperson.
According to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), its Division of Law Enforcement responded to the call on Sunday, Sept. 7.
