SHREVEPORT, La. — The Huntington High School Band is preparing for an exciting new season, and its director is calling on the community to help support the program.

Band director Roderick L. Jefferson says the band has several trips and performances scheduled in the coming months. To make those opportunities possible, the program is seeking donations from local supporters.

“These students work incredibly hard, and we want to make sure they have the resources and experiences they deserve,” Jefferson said. “Every contribution helps us maintain the quality of our program while covering important student needs.”

Donations will go toward travel, equipment, uniforms, and other essentials to keep the program thriving.
